Ashley, I don't even know how to start this blog post! I think your bridals turned out to be supper, duper, x3 to the 4^th power amazing! This shoot is defiantly a top contender! I'm just blown away how you brought it to this shoot!!! Now the pressure is on for your wedding, Jenny and I expect the same type of romantic, fashion, and edgy type of behavior from you the day of your wedding, you know that right!!! You have a lot to live up to now!!! J/K .

On a serious note, I really do hope you and your family loves these images as much as we do, for me they are some of my favorite work. I'm sure that Jenny will also agree!!!!

Kyle + Ashley Wedding Part I

This post is a bit long, so we encourage you to put on some Robin Thick, cozy up to your loved one, and hopefully help us wish Kyle + Ashley a long future together!!!!!

Jenny and I wanted our readers, as well as Kyle + Ashley's extended family to have all the inside scoop on how this super cute couple met, and finally, all the details of how Kyle decided to get down on one knee and and ask Ashley for her hand in marriage. So, we asked her friends and family to give us the inside story:

Ashley and Kyle first met through mutual friends at SMU. She happened to be over at his townhouse one day while he was making himself breakfast (around noon - they were on college time). He was training for Mr. SMU at the time, a body building competition, and wasn't wearing a shirt while he was whipping up his healthy concoction of yogurt and oats. It only took ten minutes for them to be stuck on each other. Even though they didn't see each other much for the next two years, when they final did bump into each other fate set in. They both ended up at a mutual friends party one night. Ashley showed up and said hi to everyone in the group but him, too shy to speak to let alone make eye contact with the guy, then she went and sat down in a chair as far away from him as possible. That wasn't going to stop Kyle though, a few minutes later he got up and pulled a chair over next to her. Ashley couldn't believe it. She thought her heart was going to jump right out of her chest. They sat together and talked and goofed around for the rest of the evening. At the end of the night when she got up to leave he attempted to get her number many times, at first she denied him but his persistence paid off... its all history from there. They finished out their last years of college - walking with each other to class each day and going out or studying at night. Ashley watched Kyle graduate and start his career and a year later Kyle did the same with Ashley. From there life got even better, they started to travel when they could, taking many trips around the country and to find the best undiscovered beaches and even spent two weeks in Europe. On their two and a half year "anniversary," Kyle took Ashley back to her hometown of Park City, Utah and after a day of snowboarding he led her to the top of the mountain, got down on one knee, and proposed. She said yes.

Mary Lindsay + Slater {Engagement Session}

Mary Lindsay and Slater are a supper adorable couple!!!! They actually live in Waco, where they are currently attending Baylor University. It was unfortunate that we are not able to shoot their wedding, however, we were really pleased that they allowed us to shoot their engagement session. We were in a supper rush to shoot this, as their wedding is coming up shortly and they needed to send out their save the date invitations. Mary Lindsay took my suggestion to heart they drove down with a car full of playful era accessories that I think fit them to the tee. Mary+Lindsay and Slater, first thank you guys first from driving down from Waco, 2nd thanks again for the great vibe and great time we spent with you guys. I hope you love your session as much as we do!

Ashley Bridal {The Stoneleigh} Sneak Peak

Jenny and I, had a bridal shoot with beautiful Ashley, beautiful mom Vicki, and superb and equally beautiful assistant Megan her maid of honor at The Stoneleigh hotel yesterday, her shoot we think was just purely AMAZING!!!! Kyle + Ashley Wedding Part II

Wow! This was a truly incredible wedding! Kyle and Ashley are a true blessing inside and out! Jenny and I totally reflected back on all the observations that were made during the wedding, and have concluded that Ashley and Kyle are totally remarkable people, and everything that their family had shared with all of us, was clearly spot on! Not only are they a beautiful couple, but more importantly their kindness and passion for life is totally evident. Kyle + Ashley, this is just a sneak peak of what awaits ..... more to come!!!
